Worked at an art gallery while attending university.

After graduation, worked in film production as a director of movie trailers and anime,

and as a CG creator.

Directed and produced the digital remastered trailer for “The Godfather.” Obtained approval from director Francis F. Coppola.
Subsequently signed a business outsourcing contract with Walt Disney Japan.
As director and producer of the ending theme for the anime “Transformers: Robots in Disguise” it was distributed worldwide. Gained experience as a director for anime and movie trailers, and currently produces media art works.

Recognizing the invisible, mysterious world through his young daughter's words and actions. After suffering a serious illness in 2011, he questioned the temporary value of contrived imagery. Drawing on tens of thousands of hours of video production experience, he began creating what was then the world's first media art: an endless moving painting, described as “moving ink paintings in a frame,” transforming the fleeting beauty of video into something permanent.

In 2024, he experienced the death of someone close and created a new series. The new series questions the “presence or absence” of existence, featuring simultaneous coexistence of analog depictions on the work's surface and background video that can be switched ‘ON’ or “OFF.”

The works utilize Japanese painting materials like “rock pigments,” “water-soluble pigments,” and “ink,” combined with CG (digital sculpting) techniques honed through animation production. These elements are integrated into the entire work using a proprietary ‘system’ and a “special frame” registered as a utility model.

Centered around media art pieces that establish originality through the combined technology of the work, system, and frame, he continues to pursue new forms of artistic expression to this day.
